What Doesn’t Work: Trying to avoid getting cited by using crappy pick up lines: “I wasn’t driving recklessly, I was just trying to get your dreamy eyes to look my way…Officer Hunky.”

What Works: When hiring a criminal defense attorney, call around. Don’t hire the cheapest or the most expensive. The cheap lawyers won’t fight hard for you, and the really expensive one’s will charge you as much as they can convince you to pay. Find one you feel comfortable with, but most importantly, find one you trust.
